NBF was started by David's son Bennett "Beanie" Rhodes and carried forward by his brother, producer, engineer, composer, and artist Mark Rhodes, MTStreets.
What began as music between brothers has grown into an expanding creative ecosystem encompassing artists, records, production, scoring, film and television sync, immersive audio, and storytelling.
What can sound do for a human being?
Music has accompanied human beings through grief, celebration, worship, war, love, loss, community, and healing for thousands of years. Not music as medicine. Not entertainment pretending to be treatment. Something more thoughtful: how might intentionally created sound contribute to environments in which human beings feel safer, calmer, more connected, more reflective, and more capable of healing?
